Ronald Kemmeren

Ronald co-founded Smile Sail in 2024. Ronald has 10+ years of hands-on private equity experience with technology and software companies across Europe. Growth strategies of these companies were mainly centered around accelerating organic and acquisitive international growth. Moreover, Ronald gained operational experience with travel technology company Tiqets, where he supported the company throughout Covid as VP Corporate Development & Strategy.

In 2019, Ronald was recognized as Young Private Equity Manager of the Year by the Dutch M&A Community and in 2022 he was recognized as a Rising Star of Private Equity by Dow Jones and Private Equity News.

Ronald is married and a father of two children. In his free time, he enjoys boating with family and friends.
