Smile Sail Announces Majority Stake Acquisition in Rsult Group to Accelerate EMEA Growth Strategy
Amsterdam, The Netherlands — Smile Sail (Smile Software & AI NV) is pleased to announce the acquisition of a majority stake in Rsult Group, an award winning Oracle NetSuite partner. This strategic partnership marks a significant milestone for Rsult Group as it continues to execute its ambitious buy-and-build strategy within the EMEA region.
The acquisition of Rsult Group represents the first investment from Smile Sail, a EUR 275 million evergreen investor focused on scaling Software & AI Leaders through deep sector expertise, an extensive international network, underscoring its commitment to long-term, sustainable value creation. Smile Sail invests alongside Rsult’s founders, John Schrijvers and Gerard den Teuling, and will provide strategic and financial support to strengthen Rsult’s position as a leading Oracle NetSuite partner in EMEA.
With this investment, Rsult will accelerate its expansion across the region, further enhancing its service and AI capabilities, industry expertise, and customer reach. Beyond its Oracle NetSuite practice, Rsult is also proud to own world-class AI-enabled SaaS companies, including Dataswitcher and Movemybooks, both recognized globally for delivering high-quality financial data conversion solutions. These specialized platforms play an essential role in helping businesses migrate seamlessly between accounting systems — a capability that supports and strengthens Rsult’s overall value proposition in the cloud-ERP ecosystem. John Schrijvers will continue in his role as Group CEO and Gerard den Teuling will also remain on the Executive Team to support the next phase of the company’s growth.
“Smile Sail gives us the platform to scale. We’ll invest harder in talent and innovation, expand faster across EMEA, and raise the bar for what customers should expect from an Oracle NetSuite partner. With Smile Sail’s strategic support and network, we’re accelerating our path to becoming the leading Oracle NetSuite partner in the region.”
John Schrijvers, Group CEO of Rsult
“Rsult has built a standout position in the NetSuite ecosystem — high quality, entrepreneurial, scalable and with a distinctive AI-enabled software-and-services model,” said Ronald Kemmeren, Partner at Smile Sail. “We are excited to back the team with more than capital: operational support, deep B2B software and IT services know-how, and a network to help drive growth across EMEA.”
“Our long-term vision is clear,” added John Schrijvers “We aim to become the number one Oracle NetSuite partner in EMEA — not just in scale, but in the quality, innovation, and impact we deliver to our clients. And with our ownership of leading AI-enabled SaaS solutions like Dataswitcher and Movemybooks, we are uniquely positioned to support companies end-to-end on their digital transformation journey. With Smile Sail’s backing, we are more confident than ever in our ability to achieve our ambition.”
